Course "Intensive PLUS"
This is an original and attractive approach to language learning. It combines 26, 30 or 34 lessons week intensive course in multinational classes with 5 to 20 one-to-one lessons.
The intensive courses are recognized as BILDUNGSURLAUB in the following German Länder: BRANDENBURG, HAMBURG, HESSE, NORDRHEIN-WESTFALEN.
College credit available for French language and social sciences for college and high school students. Postgraduate credit available for teachers who attend Accord-Ecole de Langues.
Afternoon courses
You are free during the morning to visit Paris! During the afternoon, you will have General French course completed with specialized Workshops. You can follow this program in addition to the Intensive course A.

Designed to accelerate your learning process or work on specific problems
Taken in addition to group lessons or in isolation for a specific purpose. Study programs developed by specialists based on your linguistic competence and needs. Specialized language: French for business, finance, commerce, medicine, science, etc. The dates and times are arranged with you before or after arrival.

Business French in mini group
General French classes in multinational groups (20 hours - 26 lessons)

"Intensive PLUS" Course
This course is ideal for executives, business people and diplomats who need to acquire a high command of specialized French (business French, diplomatic French, technical French, etc.) used in their field in the shortest possible time. This course is also recommended for students or professionals who need to prepare an important event: exam, professional meeting, conference, etc.
French For Specific Purposes: One-to-One Tuition
Programmes are designed to accelerate the learning process or work on a specific problem. One-to-one tuition can be taken in addition to group lessons or in isolation for specific purposes, study programmes are developed by specialists and based on the individual's linguistic competence and needs.
Specialised language: French for business, finance, commerce, medecine, science, etc. The dates and times are arranged with the student before or after arrival.
Trimester / Semester Programmes in Paris
Group programmes co-planned with universities or specialized institutes, allowing students to obtain university credits abroad. They include:
- French language lessons.
- Specialized lessons, workshops and conferences which reflect the university programmes followed by the students in their home countries, e.g. economics, art history, etc.
- Visits and excursions.
American Academic Program For Credits in Paris
Credits
All art courses carry four credit hours; the language course carries up to eight credit hours. Students can earn 16-20 Wells College credits, which are transferable to any other American institution. All courses receive a letter grade.
Academic Calendar
The Wells College Study Program for the Arts in Paris is offered in both the Fall and the Spring semesters. Students may also enroll for a full academic year. The semesters run for 15 weeks, from September 8 to December 15 for the Fall 1998 and from January 6 to April 30, 1999 in the Spring semester.
