About the English School in Dublin
The Language School International House Dublin is a member of the International House World Organisation founded in 1953. They are accredited by the Irish Department of Education and Science as a school for the teaching of English as a foreign language, and are inspected by both ACELS (the Advisory Council for English Language Schools) and International House London.
IH Dublin provides language courses for students of all ages and levels and caters for both groups and individual students from all over the world.
IH Dublin was founded in 1998 and has since grown into a major centre for English language teaching and teacher training and related activities.
There are four main areas of activity in the school:

- Junior Summer Programmes for teenagers
- Training teachers of English (native and non-native speakers)
- Placing students in Irish High Schools

International House Language School
Our year-round centre for adults is located in the Camden Village Quarter, an attractive district on the south side of the river within seven minutes walk of Saint Stephen’s Green and Grafton Street - the cultural and commercial heart of Dublin. The area is popular with students and there are many local bars, coffee shops and restaurants offering a wide range of food and drinks at reasonable prices.
