About London

Europe’s largest city is a colourful mix of cultures and languages, designer boutiques and funky street markets, old tradition and high fashion. There is surely nowhere in the English-speaking world that can combine London’s centuries of tradition and culture with a dynamic, cosmopolitan and thoroughly modern outlook on life. Get to know the city by climbing aboard a double-decker bus and seeing Big Ben, Parliament and Buckingham Palace. After that try out one of the 11,000 restaurants, cafés and takeaways in London. Spend the afternoon at the British Museum, the Tate Modern or the National Gallery who offer free admission. If museums aren’t your thing, try a bit of shopping (and people watching) in Picadilly Circus. At night, go see a musical in the West end or visit one of the pubs in lively Covent Garden.
